Young people, in particular, face a daily barrage of opinions, claims, and facts. However, news literacy is a skill that can be learned. In collaboration with the initiative "Use the News," I developed educational content at Evulpo designed to foster and strengthen news literacy among teenagers.

My role was to conceptualize and sketch a comprehensive storyboard based on the raw educational content. The main objective was to translate complex informational concepts into a simple, engaging, and visually compelling narrative.
Action Working closely with the content lead, I co-created the visual storyline through collaborative brainstorming sessions. To make ideas tangible immediately, I sketched and visualized concepts on the fly using Procreate during our meetings. Once the core visual narrative was established, I iteratively built out the detailed storyboard. This involved defining the content framing, composition, and element placement, as well as providing precise technical directions for transitions and animations.
Result As a result, six freely accessible lessons on news literacy are now live on the Evulpo platform. Each lesson features an entertaining, high-quality animated video that empowers young learners to navigate the modern media landscape critically.
